Main Characters

Gu Jinchao (顾锦朝) – Protagonist, the legitimate daughter of the Gu family.
Gu Lan (顾澜) – Jinchao’s half-sister, daughter of Concubine Song.
Gu Jinrong (顾锦荣) – Jinchao’s younger brother.
Chen Xuanqing (陈玄青) – Jinchao’s past love interest, known as Chen Qi Gongzi (陈七公子).

Baiyun (白芸) – A second-tier maid, submissive but eager to flatter Liuxiang.
Moyu (墨玉) – A maid who helps take care of Jinchao’s mother.
